There were some nice classical wristwatches before the 60s, there were some nice funky watches in the 70's, some nice watches were done since the 70's, but it's in the 60's that the fundamentals were set up. It was a time when watches were still no nonsen...

we had a 1969 eggshell white beetle back in the day, the heat came directly from the engine via the small vents near the floor of the car, and everything on the car was written in german

This one was actually Refrigerator White; the eggshell tone is courtesy of faded color prints, recently scanned

It started gray but my step-dad got crashed into by a young girl on her driving permit. He put a new fender on that didn't match. I inherited the car for college and painted it (up the street from where I now live) in a friend's front yard. I bought 4 can...
